Excessive Sweating Treatment

This treatment is suitable for anyone over the age of 18 who is experiencing symptoms of excessive sweating under the arms. This treatment is subject to an initial medical consultation with our nurse prescriber who will determine suitability.

Sweating can affect the whole of your body, or it might only affect specific areas. Commonly affected areas are under arms. At Botanix Clinic one of our aesthetic nurses will discuss this with you fully in your pre-treatment consultation to ensure the treatment plan we create for you covers all the necessary areas of concern.

Clients should notice the full effects of the treatment within 10 days.

This is a very effective temporary treatment for excessive sweating and for maximum results, should be repeated every five to six months.

The area will be cleaned and prepped by your Botanix Clinic aesthetic nurse and a small needle will be inserted into the treatment area.

There can be slight pain and bruising immediately after the treatment, which will subside in a number of days.

There may be some slight pain and bruising on the treatment site which will subside after a few days, during this period, to ensure the site recovers more quickly, we suggest that clients do not put any pressure on the area for at least one-day post-treatment.

Clients looking to undertake excessive sweating treatments are required to have a consultant with one of our aesthetic nurses as well as have a face-to-face consultation with our clinic’s prescriber prior to treatment. Consultations are charged at £50 but are fully redeemable against your chosen treatment.
